Jamie Russell wins 2021 Young Athlete of the Year Award!

Our very own Monster Skatepark KICK team member Jamie Russell has been announced the 2021 Young Athlete of the Year Award. Jamie was awarded this for his outstanding performances, sportsmanship, effort, attitude, motivation, dedication and major achievements including being a Hall of Fame Inductee and holding two world records. Jamie set a world record for the youngest person to back flip on a scooter to a timber ramp and was the youngest person to back flip a scooter on an X Games ramp. Jamie has always shown extreme determination for this sport and he is definitely a contender to look out for, consistently placing 1st in his age category at the Australian Scooter Association competitions.
