Monster Skatepark and owner Darren Hughes caught up with ESPN to talk all things female skateboarding!
“Darren Hughes, owner of Monster Skate Park, has witnessed the huge growth of the sport over the last few years, with women from all age groups taking to skate parks and trying out the aerial tricks.
“It’s amazing what’s going on,” Hughes told ESPN. “The girls specifically just seem to have an affinity with skateboarding. We run a number of programs at Sydney Olympic Park and what we’re seeing across all of our programs is just this massive upswing.”
